POWDER ROOM REVEAL – ONE ROOM CHALLENGE

*This post contains affiliate links*

Well, friends, I survived!

I am happy, really happy

This is the final reveal day for the One Room Challenge

I honestly cannot believe it, but my little powder room that needed some freshening up is now

brighter, clean, and a little more fun.

Don’t you think?

I bet you are looking at this teeny room and seeing a big giant giraffe staring at you.  This giraffe actually gave me the inspiration for the entire bathroom.  I have two boys and I thought how fun it would be to have this art hanging over the toilet – it might make them laugh a little.

and guests?

Well, they may chuckle a little too.

Come in a little closer and take a peek…

Isn’t he the cutest?

Oh, and don’t forget to take a look at that mirror.

It’s hanging under a single light by this fun wooden peg.

Which mimics the shape of the mirror.

In the mirror you see the artwork I created for the back wall.

Proverbs 11:27

says

“Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.”

This sign is an interpretation/underlying meaning of the verse.

A simple way for the kiddos to understand.

Around the bathroom you can see the planked wood

that I stained, painted, whitewashed, and distressed.

This was a process and I would love to share details with you in a future post.

The TP holder is part of the same collection as the light fixture.

Every powder room needs storage for some T.P.

so your guests and you aren’t embarrassed when it runs out.

Here you can also see the amazing hex tile and a closer look at the distressed wood planked wall.

I found this little vase

while we were on a cruise and at a stop in Cozumel.

It fits in here perfectly.

If you look up, you will find a surprise…

The ceiling…

in its glory.

The pedestal sink is beautiful in it’s own right,

but don’t you just love that sweet towel?

Once I saw it, I knew it was perfect for the bathroom.

The faucet gives a vintage vibe that

gives a nod to the hex tile underfoot.

Last but not least,

all powder rooms should have a fresh scent.

Don’t you agree?

It’s been so fun going through this journey with you and all of the uber talented designers/bloggers.

Head over to Calling It Home to see all of the reveals.

You will not want to miss out – trust me.

A big thanks to Linda for hosting this challenge and to media partner House Beautiful.

In case you forgot…

here is where we started.

and here is where it ends…

On that note…

it’s time to celebrate.

Enjoy!

Every. Single. Moment.
