***Easy Christmas Garland***
Are you ready for next week? It’s Christmas already, and if you are anything like me, you still have shopping to do, Christmas cards to send, and cookies to make. Okay, where the heck did all the time go? Every year it’s a mystery how Christmas day sneaks up on me.
The kiddos are going to be out of school and what are they going to do? Well, if you don’t have some fun ideas, here’s one I think the kids will enjoy. You will enjoy too!
Make this easy Christmas Garland. I’ve chosen a “Merry Christmas” greeting, but you can choose anything. See “Merry Christmas” on the tree?…
This garland can be hung on the tree, mantels, bedroom doors… the list goes on.
All supplies can be purchased at your local craft store or online.
Liquid Leaf//Jute
//Wood Letters
(Mine are 4″ – similar)
It’s as easy as… painting the letters…
(I painted both sides, just in case the back can be seen)
and…
hot gluing the back of the letters to jute.
(hot gluing while taking a picture gives very blurry results – ha!)
I left about an inch or so of jute in between letters.
leaving extra length on either end to wrap around the tree.
and…
Here it is again.
as you can see I made a strand of “MERRY”
and a strand of “Christmas”,
wrapped it around the tree and now it sends a “Merry Christmas” message
to everyone that enters the room.
The best of all… it’s easy to make.
What message would you put on your garland?
Enjoy!
Every. Single. Moment.
