Thanksgiving Favorites

It’s getting a little chilly out there.

I can’t believe the holiday season is here.

Time to share some cheer

and be thankful for it all.

As I bundle up and get ready for the season,

I wish we could grab a cup of hot cocoa

and shop together.

Seeing as we can’t do that,

I thought I’d share some of my Thanksgiving Favorites with you.

I love mixing natural farmhouse elements with a little shiny glam.

Farmhouse rings true with special vintage inspired chalkboard signs, and fun flour sack towels.

I’m thinking of setting my table with vintage finds and fun items, like this Turkey Placecard.

How fun are those feathers?

If you haven’t had one,

here is your chance.

They are pretty yummy

AND

Why?  Your bevvy stays cold, cold, cold and the mug sweats like the vintage soda can ads.

Alright friends, grab your mug and here’s your recipe:

Moscow Mule

1/2 of a Lime

2 oz. Vodka

Ginger Beer

Squeeze lime into the bottom of the mug, add the remaining lime skin into the mug with ice.  Add Vodka and top off with Ginger Beer.  Garnish with a lime wedge and fancy stir stick.

Oh yeah, before you get too comfortable drinking your fabulous treat,

I need all the help I can get in the kitchen this Thanksgiving. 

Ina – Barefoot Contessa has a “make ahead” Roast Turkey recipe in her Make It Ahead Cookbook. 

Yep, that sounds great to me. 

I’ve always been crazy in the kitchen and couldn’t imagine a Thanksgiving Dinner prepared ahead of guests arriving.  Yes!  I am all over that one.
